Thursday, March 1 - White Ribbon Day
The International White Ribbon Campaign calls on men to step up and be part of the solution in ending men's violence against women. Men and boys across the state are invited to take the White Ribbon Day Pledge to stand against violence and to serve as positive role models for others in their community. White ribbons will be available at the YW's Clough St. office. For more information on White Ribbon Day, please visit the campaign's website.
Youthbuild Program Now Accepting Applications for Fall 2012:
If you are between the ages of 17-24, are interested in earning your GED and have an interest in construction, apply now for YouthBuild 2012! Informational sessions will begin in June, please stay tuned for specific dates. Applications are available at the YWCA's Clough Street office in Springfield. If applying, please bring a MA picture ID, social security card, and original birth certificate.
