What to do if you’ve been victimized

Sexual assault

The YWCA service model is designed to make you secure, not invisible. Our Clough Street campus offers state-of-the-art computerized surveillance without locking you away in a hidden safe house. We provide you a secure voicemail and mailing address so you can stay in touch with your workplace and your children’s school. You’ll have access to caseworkers and therapists, if you need them, as well as day care for your children.

Hiding domestic violence doesn’t stop it. We prefer to give women liberty as well as security, while providing the resources they need to take control of the situation and resume their lives.
