YWCA is pleased to accept donations for its emergency and transitional housing residential programs.

Donations can be submitted to our Springfield location.

The YWCA of Western Massachusetts is fortunate to be the recipient of many generous donations, and we are always grateful to receive any of the items listed below.

PERSONAL ITEMS: 

  •  full-sized toiletries
  • sanitary napkins, tampons
  • new sweatshirts/T-Shirts and sweatpants/Shorts  for women (all sizes, S-XXXL)
  • underwear for women and children (all sizes, S-XXXL)
  • new socks for women and children
  • women’s clothing ( all sizes, S-XXXL)
  • shoes for babies and moms
  • new infant clothing (0-12months)
  • disposable diapers (especially larger sizes)
  • baby wipes
  • baby bottles

HOUSEHOLD ITEMS:

  • new towels & washcloths
  • pots and pans
  • new twin- queen sized bedding
  • shower curtains
  • laundry detergent
  • dishwashing liquid
  • plates and cups
  • utensils
  • pillows and pillow cases
  • alarm clocks with batteries

GIFT CARDS:

  • Walmart
  • Target
  • CVS or Walgreens
  •  Visa
  • Big Y , Stop and Shop, or BJ’s

We cannot accept the following items: 

  • used clothing, toys or stuffed animals (Unfortunately, the YWCA does not have the space or manpower to process and store donations of used clothing)
  • home baked goods and homemade meals
  • furniture
