Young Parent Services (YPS) Program

The YPS program offers specialized home visiting services that promote healthy parent-child relationships. The program supports a parent's role in promoting school readiness and healthy development of children. Staff assist families in supporting learning experiences that are relevant and customized for the individual needs of each family. Those learning experiences are offered in four components- personal home visits, resource networks, group connections, and screening.

Additionally, staff will work with parents on establishing independent living skills, self-sufficiency, and social supports. The YPS program serves Springfield, Holyoke, and Chicopee and can work with parents up to the age of 22.

To find out more information or make a referral, please call Director of Teen Residential Programs at 413-732- 3121 ext. 479.
